Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare piping designs based on project requirements (pipe routing, models, piping arrangements, isometrics, material take-offs, pipe support details, ) for mining and industrial plants
• Conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations, specification development and supervising vendor packages for equipment, nozzle loads, and anchor locations
• Independently develops complex plot plans and site plans of all types of plants, with the use of PFD’s, process or mechanical datasheets, , in accordance with instructions, specifications, standards, HSE requirements, economics, ergonomics, constructability, operational and maintenance requirements
• Ensures the design packages are in compliance with company and client standards API, ASTM, ANSI, ASME, AWS, OSHA, PSM and RAGAGEP (Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices) as they apply to the particular project scope
• Is responsible for planning, scheduling, piping material quantities, prioritizing, coordination.

Required Skills and Experience

Education

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / BE (Mechanical)

Experience

3 + years of relevant Piping Design experience required, pharma experience is highly preferred.
